Rachel Huntsborne is a writer of fiction, specifically of fantasy, although she dabbles in other things, too. She finds it good to escape from normal life every now and again.

Having written countless short stories, Rachel stopped illustrating her own work aged approximately 9 years, when she realised she was doing more harm than good.

In 2012, Rachel entered an abridged version of a play into a Short Play Festival. It was chosen as one of three from hundreds of entries, and was performed over three nights. Sadly, it did not kick-start her career in writing.

Rachel has held myriad jobs since graduating university in 2002. From estate agency (don't judge her) to media, mental health to investigations, she has had many experiences she'd love to write about, but fears she won't be believed. She'll stick with magic and mischief instead.
